El Ayuntamiento cierra el presupuesto de 2024 con récord de inversiones, bajada de impuestos, superávit de más de cuatro millones y una ejecución del 97%
El dinero acumulado en Tesorería pasa de 99 millones, en junio de 2023, hasta los 124 millones en diciembre de 2024.
Con el superávit se va a proceder a cancelar toda la deuda financiera que existía en el Ayuntamiento antes desde la llegada del nuevo equipo de gobierno.
«Se han realizado grandes inversiones en Educación, Playas, Vías y Obras, Edificaciones, Limpieza, Seguridad, Bienestar Social… todo ello con una bajada del IBI a familias numerosas y con el Impuesto de Circulación más bajo de toda la Costa del Sol», subrayó la alcaldesa en funciones.
Los resultados «lo notan los vecinos, que están viendo numerosas mejoras muy necesarias por toda la ciudad, invirtiendo en 2024 cinco millones en la adquisición de una parcela para la construcción de 250 viviendas públicas nuevas, tras décadas sin construirse ninguna en el municipio», destacó el edil de Hacienda. La alcaldesa en funciones, Presi Aguilera, acompañada del edil de Hacienda, José Miguel Muriel, ha anunciado que el Ayuntamiento de Benalmádena ha cerrado el ejercicio presupuestario de 2024 haciendo historia, logrando un superávit de 4.303.577,79 euros, bajando impuestos e incrementando las inversiones y partidas en prácticamente todas sus delegaciones municipales. El Ayuntamiento, en virtud de estos buenos datos económicos, va a proceder a cancelar su deuda financiera heredada del gobierno anterior, «un claro ejemplo de que la situación de las arcas municipales de Benalmádena va mejor que nunca», ha subrayado Aguilera. Benalmádena cierra su liquidación presupuestaria incrementando la Tesorería, pasando de 99 millones de euros en junio de 2023, cuando se produjo el cambio a gobierno y la llegada de Juan Antonio Lara, a 124 millones de euros al cierre del ejercicio presupuestario de 2024. «Hemos demostrado que se podía hacer mucho más», subrayó la alcaldesa en funciones, acometiendo obras muy necesarias por toda la ciudad, bajando impuestos, aumentando el dinero en Tesorería y ejecutando en un 97% del presupuesto previsto en 2024″. «Los vecinos están viendo que ahora pagan menos de IBI si son familia numerosa o que abonan el Impuesto de Circulación más bajo de toda la Costa del Sol, ven que este Ayuntamiento está a su lado impulsando el alivio del esfuerzo fiscal, que mantiene el pago medio a proveedores en 10-15 días todos los meses, que es capaz de ahorrar y modernizar toda la ciudad invirtiendo en dos años todo lo que el gobierno anterior ha invertido en ocho años», aseveró. Y todo ello, apostando de manera decidida por abordar el problema de la vivienda, con cinco millones de euros invertidos el pasado 2024 en la adquisición de una parcela para la construcción de casi 250 viviendas públicas para los benalmadenses «tras décadas sin construirse ninguna en el municipio», hechos que demuestran que «el cambio le sienta muy bien a Benalmádena, pero lo más importante, que al mismo tiempo se cumplen los compromisos adquiridos con la ciudadanía», concluyó la alcaldesa en funciones. «Se ha invertido mucho más en lo que necesitaba la ciudadanía, cuidando cada detalle», añadió el edil de Hacienda. «La diferencia entre este gobierno y el anterior es que antes no se ejecutaban los presupuestos y el dinero acababa en los bancos. Con el cambio de gobierno se ejecutan los presupuestos, se invierte más y mejor y se logra más ejecución presupuestaria, más dinero en tesorería, más inversiones y mejor calidad de vida para la ciudadanía», apostilló. «Nunca se ha invertido tanto en Educación, en políticas sociales, en mejorar nuestro municipio», precisó el edil, «hemos más que duplicado las inversiones con respecto al mejor año del gobierno anterior, son unas cifras que hablan por sí solas». «Tenemos en caja ahora mismo 124 millones de euros, todos los ingresos que hemos obtenido se han ejecutado al 100% porque cuando un gobierno, con Juan Antonio Lara al frente, trabaja sin descanso, aprueba impulsar proyectos e inversiones y, al mismo tiempo, aumenta la recaudación, los buenos resultados no tardan en llegar», sentenció.
